About Jerri:

Hello, my name is Jerri.

I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker with over 15+ years’ experience working across NHS, education, social care and private practice settings.

I work with children, young people, adults and families experiencing a range of emotional and mental health difficulties, including anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties and confidence-related challenges.

I have a particular interest in supporting autistic individuals and people with ADHD through post-diagnostic intervention work. Receiving a diagnosis can bring relief, validation and understanding, but it can also raise new questions. I enjoy helping individuals and families better understand their neurodivergent profile, develop practical strategies and build confidence in everyday life.

I adopt a neurodiversity-affirming approach, recognising and supporting individual strengths whilst helping people navigate challenges related to emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, education and work.

I also work closely with parents and carers, helping families better understand and support their child’s emotional wellbeing and neurodevelopmental needs.

My approach is warm, collaborative and evidence-based. Clients often tell me that they value my down-to-earth style and my ability to explain complex psychological concepts in a way that feels understandable, relatable and empowering.

Alongside my clinical work, I am the Founder and CEO of Prior Mindset, an independent psychological therapy service supporting children, young people, adults and families. I am also proud to have received the NHS People’s Star Award for Outstanding Patient Care and to have been recognised as Neurodiverse Mental Health Clinic of the Year 2026 (Greater Manchester).

Seeking support can feel like a big step, and I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where people feel understood, valued and able to make meaningful changes at their own pace.
