Hi, my name is Gemma and I have had the privilege of working with children, young people, families, and care givers for the past 18 years.
I have worked within CAMHS services in the NHS for the last 18 years and began working in private practice alongside this 5 years ago.
I have extensive experience of working therapeutically with children and young people with mild to severe, complex, and enduring mental health needs including anxiety, depression, OCD, social anxiety, and trauma.
I am a child and adolescent mental health nurse, cognitive behavioural psychotherapist and EMDR therapist. I use a range of therapeutic techniques in my clinical practice.
I am currently undertaking a diploma in ASD and mental health.
I am as passionate today as I was 18 years ago when I first began working in mental health services. I aim to help children and young people develop a positive view of themselves and the world around them.
